My Hope Journey

Shronica Holmes known as the Hope Influencer has over 15 years of experience working with seniors and running multiple businesses. She is the owner of  The Rose Residential Care Home for Seniors, founder of Better Me Foundation a 501c3, and the creator of The WORC Series which offers consulting for aspiring group homeowners and workshops that travel throughout the United States to teach others on how to start and open a group home. Her mission is to help seniors age in place in a home-like environment that doesn't remind them of a facility, to serve aged out foster care youth by providing supportive housing and valuable life skill programs, build intergenerational connections by creating a life and wisdom exchange amongst seniors and youth, and give others HOPE through her personal story of overcoming childhood trauma and obstacles. 

 

Shronica holds a bachelor's degree in Social Work and a Master’s in Business Administration. She serves on the Texas College Social Work Advisory Board, Leadership Tyler class of 35 Alumni, Adult Protective Services Advisory Committee of Smith County, SocialWORX board member, and the Tyler Metro Chamber of Commerce. She is the Author of her free e-book called Don’t Put Me in a Nursing Home which provides resources for caregivers to help keep their loved ones at home. 

 

Shronica started her entrepreneurial journey with a dream to enrich as many lives with life and wisdom and has plans on expanding her group home business to offer affordable group housing for all generations and becoming an intergenerational international leader.
